What is Live Blood Analysis?
Live Blood Analysis, also known as Photo Comparative Microscopic Analysis, is the observation of live blood cells using a high powered specialized microscope.
At each appointment, two samples of blood are taken from your finger, a ‘Live’ and ‘Dry’ sample. At your first appointment three samples are taken to determine your blood type. Those samples are viewed with a microscope which is attached to a TV so both the practitioner and patient are able to look at the sample together right at your appointment. A simple prick to your finger is all that’s needed!
For the first sample, or the ‘Dry sample’, we let the blood sit exposed to oxygen, and dry on a slide. By doing so we allow oxygen to separate the waste by-product from the blood cells, giving us the characteristic pattern we are looking for. This pattern shows us things like vitamin and mineral deficiencies, toxins in the body, and even where they originate!
The second sample, or the ‘Live sample’, is where we look at function, health, and activity of individual cells. We can see things like the health of Red, and White Blood Cells, their relative count, and vitality. It shows if there is liver stress or damage, and if cholesterol and atherosclerotic plaque are present. We can also see hormone balances, sugar imbalances, yeast and bacterial infections, and blood parasites!
After both samples of blood are looked at, questions you may have will be answered. Suggestions may be made that involve nutrition, supplementation, lifestyle modifications, and/or guidance from other types of practitioners in order to work towards bettering your health, or optimizing it!
Photo Comparative Microscopic Analyst
Venessa grew up in a small rural town in Manitoba called Shoal Lake where health care was limited. Her sister had eye surgery at the age of 2, which unfortunately ended up cutting her Pituitary Gland without anyone’s knowledge. As time went on Venessa’s mother observed her sister not maturing, or physically growing (her hair wasn’t growing, she was always very cold, at age 5 she appeared to look only 2 or 3), but was unable to find answers as to why. Very concerned, Venessa’s family came across a lady who did Photo Comparative Microscopic Analysis, or Live Blood Analysis. She was able to see and do things no other doctor had done, and with one visit Venessa’s family was relieved to know at least what was finally going on. That moment Venessa knew she wanted to do this so she too could help those feeling at a loss whether it be with suggestions involving nutrition, supplementation, lifestyle modifications, and/or guidance from other types of practitioners in order to work towards bettering your health, or optimizing it.
Before getting into Photo Comparative Microscopic Analysis, Venessa graduated from Wellington College of Winnipeg, Manitoba where she took Massage Therapy and specialized in Anatomy & Physiology. She was then introduced to optometry, where she studied to be a licensed Optometric Assistant through the CCOA program in Calgary. When Venessa is not in the office, she enjoys doing summit hikes, running with her dog, and camping.
